I always start from the end :)
Sounds weird i know. But that’s how I roll.
Every time I am about to begin something, anything new, I think about the end of it. How would that look? How would I feel when i’m done?
I try to visualize the outcome. In every aspect.
This blog post for example. Before I even started writing a single word on my blank digital paper, I though about it for a minute. How long would that post be? What’s the message i want to pass over? How would it look like on screen? (even that).
I do that every time. Not only for simple tasks as a blog post. I do that with everything.
A startup is another example. When I decide that I will go after an idea, I have already visualized how success would look like.
Don’t get me wrong. I don’t sit on that visualization. I’m all about pivots when needed. But thinking about the end result, boosts my energy levels. I hit the ground running.
Does that work for you too ?
Its my belief that you won’t be able to accomplish anything in life if you can’t at least visualize it. You wont get rich if you can’t be rich in your mind first. If you can’t think about how would it feel to be rich.
Be careful though.
Visualizing is not daydreaming.
Only visualization followed by action leads to success.
